YouTube Music is rolling out a gradient background for Now Playing. The service is also adding play counts for every song. The generative AI creator for playlist art is also seeing a wider rollout. The feature was announced at the end of October in the US on Android and iOS with some users seeing it shortly after. It generates a prompt with one to three aspects that you can change, while there’s also a “Randomize” button. It’ll be available on iOS and Android for the next few days, with the Android app coming soon. It's not available for user-created playlists yet, but it's coming.
